Allow the mixture to stand of 5 minutes and re-stir the mixture thoroughly. Now, the adhesive is ready to use. Apply the adhesive onto surface using a notched trowel. Do not spread more than 10 square feet at once. Please the tiles onto adhesive bed with appropriate spacers. For tile larges than 12" x 12" in size they should be coated with adhesive on bottom. Adjust tile surface with a level indicator using a wooden beater & tile hammer. Clean the surface of tile very lightly using a wet sponge to remove any adhesive contact Wait for 24 hours to allow grouting or traffic on the tiles. Precautions Never mix cured adhesive with water to reuse it. Do not use the space for 24 hours after fixing the tiles Clean all equipment with water and tile with wet sponge/cloth before adhesive cures. Do not dilute unused adhesive and pour in drain.

Tile Mate is a high quality, water resistant cement based powder grout designed for grouding various types of tiles, stones, mosaics & glass blocks. When mixed with water it produces a soft, creamy and easily workable mortar with good filling properties. The cured grout is weather resistant and is suitable for internal & external use. Coverage can be calculated in kg per square meter using following formula. Packing 500 gram, 1 Kg & 25 Kg paper bags Shelf Life 12 months from date of manufacture in original sealed bags. Surface Preparation Grouting surfaces should be free from dust, dirt & oil. They should not be too dry or wet. Surfaces showing high water absorption should be damped with a wet cloth. Grouting should be started only after at least 24 hours after tiles are fixed. Grouting should not be carried out under conditions of direct sunlight, vibration and wind. Immediate water loss may result in shrinkage and crack. Preparing Mixture 1 Kg of Tile mate color grout should be mixed with 250 grams of water. Add additive/fortifier (if any) into water. Take suitable amount of water in a clean pail/bucket and slowly add TileMate tile grout into water to make a lump free & smooth mixture. Allow the mixture to stand of 5 minutes and re-stir the mixture thoroughly. Now, the grout is ready to use. Remember excess water in grout mixture can result in low adhesive, pin holes and chalking. Low cycled electric mixture (320 350 rpm) can be used to prepare the mixture Grout Application Using a rubber squeeze or rubber grout float work the mixed grout thoroughly into joints. Remove all grease, wax, oil, dust, aggregates & water from the surface. Add additive/fortifier (if any) into water. Take suitable amount of water in a clean pail/bucket and slowly add TileMate tile adhesive into to water to make a lump free smooth mixture. Allow the mixture to stand of 5 minutes and re-stir the mixture thoroughly. Now, the adhesive is ready to use. Apply the adhesive onto surface using a notched trowel.
