RTV Silicone Gasket Maker is especially designed for sealing and bonding for automobiles. It is one-component, neutral curing adhesion, can be widely used for gas engines, automobiles, gear cases, compressors and many kinds of machine tools, with good adhesion to water, gas, oil and etc. It also has good seep resistance and adhesion to urn cover of gas engine, valve cover, screw thread which has bottom rind and high voltage oil pipe, gear-box, front and back end cover of petrol, the cover of adjust temperature machine, oil pump, and water pump. It will prolong the usage life of machine. Technical index (for reference): Color: black, white, grey, iron red Density (g/cm3): 1.03 Tack free time (min): 5-15 Curing time (temperature, 23±2oC, RH 50±5%): 2-4mm/day Durometer hardness (shore A): 19-30 Shear strength (MPa): 1.5-2.0 Elongation percentage (%): 300-400 Solvent resistance capability (%): 90 Max. sealing press (MPa):12 Max. sealing gap (mm): 6 Working temperature: -60oC - 250oC Instructions: a. Clean the stains on the joint surface such as oil, water and dust. Wait until the surface is dry b. Open the cartridge and attach nozzle to cartridge, cut nozzle for desired size c. When bonding or sealing, the width of the sealant gap is at least 0.2mm. Make sure there is no air in the gap d. When bonding or sealing, keep the sealant pipe at 45 degrees. Extrude the sealant into the gap and the sealant will not flow down e. Must extrude the sealant for the required thickness in 10 minutes f. Curing time: cure in one hour; cure 3mm/24 hours under room temperature, fully cure in 7 days. There is a phenomenon of curing incompletely in northeast, northwest in winter, but it will not affect the using affects, just keep definite moisture, because the sealant is cured by absorbing minim moisture in the air Technical information: RTV Silicone Gasket Maker has a good adhesion under -25oC - 50oC, extrude easily. After curing under -50oC - 200oC, it keeps excellent flexibility, good oil, gas and water resistance and good elongation percentage. And also it has high quality sealing for engine and gear-box, good thixotropi performance, corrosive resistance and safe. Color: Four general colors: black, white, grey, iron red, other colors as per clients' requests Storage and expiry of validity: Store in a cool, dry and airiness place, in 27oC or lower temperature conditions in the original unopened container; It has a shelf life of 12 months from the date of manufacture
